None of them returned my calls, except Bill Hanson who responded within a half hour of my call and I'm so happy that none of the others called back because he did an exceptional job and I couldn't be happier with the results. Our first experience with Hanson Painting was top notch. From the initial estimate to job completion, Bill was prompt and thorough in explanation and execution. He and his crewman Matt did an outstanding job painting our great room, its trim, three doors, and the trim on newly installed windows, and a hallway to our upstairs. I can't not express how wonderful of a job Bill and his "team" (of 1) did! Everyone who has seen it, just loves it! I searched A LOT of near by painting companies and no one came close to Bill's professionalism, friendliness, responsiveness, and even better, cost! He was really a pleasure to work with. I was not in a rush of when this needed to be done and yet he still completed the whole house in less than a full week's time. Very impressive since this included many window frames/trims, all baseboards and chair rail trims, walls, halls, rooms, 2 staircases, etc.; These all with 2/3 coats of paint. If I need painting in the future (new house or even this one again), I will be calling Hanson Painting, no doubt about it!

I spent weeks debating on whether to reface or replace the kitchen cabinets we inherited when we moved into our 30-yr old home. I was close to fitting the bill for a reface when I noticed Bill Hanson's website after doing a search for local cabinet painters. Three things surprised me about it: 1) close-up photos of the painted trim, door casings, etc. (Only a true pro would showcase the fine print!) 2) A price list of his services --what contractor/painter offers that?? 3) Unanimously raving reviews (not sure I found one negative!) Well, it turns out they're not lying! We couldn't have been more pleased with the finished product --it's as if we really had replaced those cabinets! From the prepping/cleaning process, to spraying every door w/ three coats (not two), to wrapping them neatly, cleaning up daily, delivering what he said he was going to, and just being downright friendly, trustworthy, reasonable, and pleasant to work w/, we are thrilled to have chosen Hanson Painting! And I recommend him constantly to friends and neighbors. Before you move fwd with a reface or replace, definitely call Bill!

Bill and Shane did a fantastic job on my house. I had the first floor, stairs, hallway, and two bed rooms repainted, including trim and ceilings, and the house looks brand new inside. I knew it was going to be a quality job when I asked about prep work and Bill told me he preferred to do all the work so that he knew it was done to his standards. All the cracks, holes and blems were filled, the trim was caulked to fill in any joints, then the walls were sanded and painted. Bill suggested a matte finish and it looks fantastic. He worked around all the furniture in the rooms, and there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere it shouldn't have been. His pricing was very reasonable (in line w/ the estimates on his web page) and the project finished on time and on budget. I recommend him w/o reservation for any painting project.

Bill was great and my ceilings came out fantastic. He was in the wiggle room of the budget. He showed up on time and finished the job early. His clean up after the job was complete was so thorough that you could not tell he was even in the house. Only the beautiful job he did on my ceilings was the evidence of his presence there. Hanson Painting just completed a job at our house this week. I hired them to paint the entire first floor ceiling and two walls in the kitchen. Their process to schedule a quote was easily done online. Communication was outstanding. Bill followed up several times before his appointment. A quote was emailed promptly and while he was scheduled a few weeks out he started the job on time. They showed up on time each day for a day-and-a-half project. They were thorough in covering the floors and all the furniture. And cleaned up thoroughly after each day. Bill and his work not only made some great recommendations they did everything needed for a high-quality paint job. The prep work they did corrected many paint problems created by the previous owner. No short cuts were taken. He also went above and beyond and did some minor additional work that I was not quoted for, but they felt was needed for a quality job. As a Haverhill MA REALTOR, I am always asked about service providers and Hanson Painting will be on the top of my list for recommendation. I also plan on having them back to complete several other projects. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. My husband and I could not be more impressed or grateful with the job done by the Team at Hanson painting. In preparation to sell our house, we needed to have the entire interior repainted. On the day of the quote and walkthrough, Bill showed up perfectly on time. Our house has many, many mouldings, arches and small rooms (lots to do!) and a few bold colors that would need some work. The quote was prompt and fair. We were told it would take four days and they were done in three. On the first day, I came home to everything spackled, sanded and primed, AND the first coat of paint down. We were so pleasantly astonished. They use great tools, such as a festool sander, so there was no dust in the house. We came home tonight to everything complete, and all we can say is that you will not go wrong choosing Hanson! Bill and Max did a great job painting several interior rooms of our home. They were friendly, professional, meticulous and on time. Previously had wainscoting with deep red walls, but the switch to a richer gold tone totally transformed the room.
